TCV Ticket

An open ticket is a ticket issued with no particular obligation to a specific day or train. The ticket allows transportation from one rail station to another by following the specified itinerary on the ticket, in the class of service chosen for travel.

Important rules regarding this ticket:

• Travel must be completed within two months from the first day of validity.
• Seat reservation is not included, and any specific reference to a train is not given.
• Tickets can be issued on domestic routes within the listed countries, or bordering countries.
• Italian domestic ticket cannot be issued as open ticket, please book a ticket with confirmed train and seat reservation as an alternative for travel within Italy. Open tickets might be available for travel from Italy into one of its bordering countries (or vice versa).

Open tickets are allowed in countries participating in the tariff agreement of European railways (TCV).
